Cutteslowe School Friends
Who are we?
As a parent or carer of a child at Cutteslowe Primary School you are automatically a member of Cutteslowe School Friends. We are a Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and we work together to make the school a better place for the children to learn.
What do we do?
Our role is to enhance the children’s learning experience, we:
-
Raise funds for additional resources and opportunities
-
Improve the school environment
-
Develop relationships between our parents/carers, staff and members of the community
How do we achieve this?
-
Arrange fun fundraising events like the annual Christmas Fair and Summer Fair as well as ice pop / cake sales
-
Apply for local and national grants
-
Work with the school to agree where our funds are best spent to make a difference
-
Engage with parents/carers, teachers and the local community to help each other and share ideas

Please speak to one of us or drop us an email (friendschair@cuttesloweprimary.org) if you would like to join our WhatsApp group, get involved or have any suggestions. We are always looking for volunteers and new ideas, however big or small.
We are also keen to hear from the local community and businesses if you have any offers of sponsorship or raffle prizes or if you have any skills that could help us.
We hold an “Annual General Meeting” and a termly open meeting – feel free to pop in, dates will be communicated via the school.
